Gas Leakage Detection Alarm

This kit Gas Leakage Detection Alarm is based on gas leakage system and its control. In this kit we can simply detect the gas leakage using MQ6 gas sensor and when it senses the gas, alarm will be enable to show the alert. This kit Gas Leakage Detection Alarm first of all the gas sensor, MQ-6 is used to detect the presence of the gas in the surrounding atmosphere. This sensor is capable of detecting many gases depending on its sensitivity which is calibrated using resistance pair (2.2K &1K in this case for LPG and CNG gas detection). The working principle of this sensor is that it converts the heat generated by the combustion of this gas in to voltage. Now, according to the amount of gas present this sensor gives an analog variation of voltage on its data pin. This is done through op-amp used in comparator where we compare the analog voltage with a reference voltage calibrated through a 10K preset. If the Vip>Vref output is high else the output is low (high specify gas leakage and low no leakage). The op-amp IC used is LM324 (quad op-amp IC) and the mode of its operation is non-inverting.
